About Chronic Pain in Scotland

No Pain logoIn Scotland, statistics show that over 900,000 people suffer from chronic pain – that is about 1 in 5 people. These figures mirror the situation in the UK and the rest of the world.

Yet, despite a number of reports and recommendations published throughout a period of many years, very little has been done that has directly and positively affected people with chronic pain.

People in pain need action NOW.

This blog has been created to keep chronic pain patients, carers, people suffering from chronic pain and anyone with an interest in the subject aware of the latest developments in Scotland.

The whole history of what has been happening since the 1990s can be found on http://bit.ly/CAMintheNHS . Here you will be able to find links to government documents (British and Scottish), questions by MSPs  and myself (Paulo Quadros) and the answers given.
